16 December conference-party Digital Monkey made Oles Timofeev, the founder of one of Ukraine’s largest education projects – GeniusMarketing. He told the audience about their own way of attracting customers from Facebook – much cheaper and faster than the competition. We decided to check with Olesya, some key aspects of the proposed method.

DM: At the conference you shared their way of attracting customers through Facebook. How did you know about him?
O. T.: From American experts. I travel to USA regularly, I have teachers. Also listen to the online courses.
DM: Your way of drawing includes, among other things, the writing bright, catchy articles. How to look such materials?
Ot: This is the text of 4-5 pages of A4 format. It needs to be structured. People love structure. Also required striking title and an interesting beginning of one paragraph that will hook people. What to cling to? For example, to write something that will refute existing views. Or something else, what people have not heard.
DM: And 4-5 pages is not a lot? Usually users do not like to read large texts on the Internet.
Ot: So it’s about the copyright. Our goal is to get “warmed up” to the user. That man has passed through our content himself “warmed up”, imbued with confidence and thus was ready for further cooperation.
DM: don’t You think a good copyright in Ukraine is the problem?
Ot: Yes, it is. We have in Ukraine is not developed in full awareness of the importance of copywriting for business. We need such specialists. They are really now very few, and often they do not have the necessary experience, but this niche is developing with time things will change. As for the changes to happen, most businesses need to invest more in the development of this sector. In fact, copywriters are people who are needed everywhere, on any website. And to create any content.
DM: the Audience of Facebook is very different from the audience of “Vkontakte”. Does this mean that not all products can be promoted there with the same benefits?
O. T: Our research shows that Facebook is better there are more expensive products, “Vkontakte” – cheaper. Although Facebook can be simultaneously sell cheap goods, but in “Vkontakte” such reconciliation is likely impossible.
Much also depends on your specific target audience. For example, my method of customer engagement in Facebook is more aimed at the B2C audience. Hard B2B sales of industrial equipment, for example – this method will not work.
DM: what are the methods to be used for B2B?
Ot: SEO-advertising, contextual advertising, retargeting, email marketing. Promotion on YouTube works well.
