Starting June 6, the ergonomics of HTC’s virtual reality headset will take a leap to offer a better experience, which includes integrated sound headsets.
HTC he has confirmed that from the next June 6 it will be possible to acquire Deluxe Audio Strap, the new fastening system for the Vive virtual reality headset. The new accessory will be available for € 119.99 on the Vive website and in other stores such as Microsoft, where last week we were able to find out the possible arrival date that was quite close to the one confirmed today by HTC, just one day apart.
Deluxe Audio Strap is an accessory for HTC Vive that comes to improve the ergonomics of the viewfinder, thanks to the new rigid fine-tuning system using a spinner, which distributes the weight better, and the integrated sound headphones. Having forgotten to put on the headphones will become a problem of the past, and Vive users will no longer have to resort to custom modifications or third-party hardware to achieve a better user experience than the one that comes standard with the device. Developers or companies that purchase the Business Edition of Vive will have included in the package the new fastening system that will begin shipping in June.
At the moment, Vive Tracker, the other accessory that HTC plans to launch this year, continues without a release date for the general public, although for developers it has been available since the end of March.
