Those developers interested in getting a Vive Tracker kit, the accessory to position any object, can register until February 7th.
HTC invites the entire developer community to participate in this new experience offered by the Vive Tracker, some accessories that allow to achieve the absolute positioning of any real object within the virtual world. To carry out such an action, a limited number of units will be lent free of charge. Those companies or developers who are interested in getting the Vive Tracker development kit, can fill out the following form where Spain is part of the initiative. In order to have a greater probability of receiving a Tracker, they recommend that as much detail as possible be added and clear objectives on how the accessories will be used.
The possibilities offered by Vive Tracker are endless, from weapons or objects for our hands to getting our whole body into the experience, and much more that now the developers will be able to investigate thanks to these units that HTC will give. The exact price and availability of the Trackers has not been communicated, but they are expected to arrive in the second quarter of this year, as announced at CES.
