We told you about it a few weeks ago and today it becomes a reality. Jetpack Joyride 2, the sequel to one of the most legendary mobile games of all time, is now available. And yes, it is exclusive to Apple Arcade.
Jetpack Joyride 2 more or less follows the formula of the original installment, as it is a side-by-side runner in which you have to get Barry, the protagonist, to constantly move to the right dodging obstacles and enemies. However, this time the game arrives with HD graphics, new animations, new mechanics and new mechanics to play: to begin with, this is no longer a title in which you have to run forever, but is divided into 30 individual levels. In addition, during the levels you will find bosses that you will have to defeat with your skills.

Obviously, in Jetpack Joyride 2 you get money after each level, which helps you to improve several things, from your health to the power of your weapons. The interesting thing is that, being an Apple Arcade game, it does not include microtransactions. In this way, there are no gacha elements, no coin payments for improvements: the progression feels natural and not forced to force you to spend money, one of the biggest advantages of this business model.
Jetpack Joyride 2 lasts about 5 hours, but the developer Halfbrick Studios assured that more levels will arrive in the future.
