RozumLab: student collaborative robot (cobot) rostec and Rozum RoboticsНаталья Solovyov | 11.06.2020
The state Corporation rostec and the company Rozum Robotics (Republic of Belarus) has developed a robotic system designed specifically for high school preparation professionals who tie
his professional career with the technologies of Industry 4.0 (Fourth industrial revolution). Training system called RozumLab expected to find demand in universities and colleges,
which train specialists in the field of collaborative robotics.
Collaborative robots, or chobotov (cobots) experts to be one of the most promising segments of the global robotics market. Kobota can be actively involved in all sectors
industry, from transport engineering to automated public catering enterprises. They work in direct contact with the person, they are easy to reconfigure run
one task to another – industrial robotics-manipulator such problem not under force. According to experts Barclays Research, each year the number chobotov worldwide doubled, according
the state Corporation “rostec” – increases to 50%. Experts agree on one thing – that today it is one of the fastest growing segments of the global robotics market. By the end of 2020, as
consider to Barclays Research, the number chobotov will reach 150 thousand
Many companies would like to automate their work using robots, but of professional and experienced personnel in the field of robotics in the domestic labour market is not enough, believe in Rozum
Robotics. At the experts level of knowledge is insufficient, and practical experience in the integration of robots and their maintenance they do not have at all.
Robotic complex RozumLab will help universities and colleges to effectively train students in robotics and prepare for the modern production of profiled staff, who will have to deal with
robots, says the Executive Director of the Corporation “rostec” Oleg Yevtushenko. Is the solution as close as possible to the demands of the business. With it, students can practice to master 90%
processes that occur in actual production.
Installation RozumLab is fully equipped with kaboom workplace on the basis of Plug and Play. Mounting base comprise a robot positioner PULSE with support Python3, compact
conveyor belt length of 1 m, driven by servomotors (developed by partner companies) and mobile aluminium frame with locking system. The package includes a flexible
end effector with integrated force sensors and положенияOnRobot RG2, a set of sensors and buttons that quickly provides information about the position of objects and performing security checks
cell, backlight for safe operation, the laptop based on Core i5 processor, the access point and 6-Deportivo extension. The total length of the entire installation is of the order of 1.5 m, weight – 200 kg.
Effective integration RozumLab in the learning process will help specially developed for this training course is designed for 14 weeks with a set of 12 ready-made programs for the laboratory work.
Depending on the direction and specialty training, University or College may choose to install additional technical equipment of the robotic cell and program it
for a wide range of tasks characteristic of modern production. Thus, each of the box – “Safety”, “vision”, “Special grippers” and “Vacuum
gripping device” includes software, computer components, and a set of teaching materials. Universities, thanks to the open programming interface and a variety of supported languages
programming and settings, can expand the training RozumLab and update training materials on their own.
As commented by experts of “rostec”, the price of joint development RozumLab 15-20% below the cost of similar solutions available on the market today.
