September 3 may be the presentation of a device that can give us a very clear idea of the image quality of the first commercial version of Oculus Rift or CV1. Samsung could present on that date the Galaxy Note 4, with its 2560×1440 screen, and at the same time the Gear VR, the HMD that it has co-developed together with Oculus VR.
That’s what Androidhelp claims, and we can’t wait to take a look at it, since we know that Oculus has collaborated with Samsung, at least as far as software is concerned, but it is possible that the lenses may also be similar to what we expect in the commercial version of the Rift. We are very curious to see if the defects of the DK2 (chromatic aberration correction and black bleed) are also present in this device. Since the DK2 carries the same screen as the Note 3, the screen of its successor could be the same or very similar to that of the Oculus CV1.
