Stop iPhone autostart in Windows 7
Every time I connect my iPhone to the computer, Windows displays a dialog with four different options that I can do with it. The problem is just that I don’t want to make use of this as I either just want to charge my phone or use iTunes to sync my iPhone. Usually one has the option to choose that one does not want to see this dialogue again – but unfortunately not with the iPhone. See instructions on how to change this anyway.
1. Free “Control panel“by clicking “Start” control button.
2. Press “Hardware and sound”
3. Press “Automatic playback”
4. Here you can choose what to do after you set your iPhone on. It is located at the very bottom, and here you have to choose “Do nothing“this should solve the problem.
