Delirium Studios has announced that Unforgiven VR, a duel game in the wild West, will be available on Steam from February and in early access.
The Spanish company Delirium Studios prepares the early access release of its title Unforgiven VR, a game that transports us to the wild West in order to fight in gunfighter duels with other players. For this we will have at our disposal different characters and weapons to use. Each combat consists of several rounds, and allows the possibility of challenging the same person again if we want. In addition, there will be other game modes such as shooting cans on our ranch that will help us to practice our aim.
The early access the game will be divided into 4 phases and an extra one that will be added as they are completed. The first call ‘Any weapon can play‘it will allow us to select between 4 characters, challenge the AI or other online players in a scenario, score points on the leaderboards based on our win-loss ratio, and practice in the training area. Second, ‘The salon opens its doors‘, adds the possibility of playing poker or a knife throwing mini-game while waiting for someone to challenge us. The training area will also receive more challenges such as shooting cans three times in a row, as well as new characters and scenarios.
Third, ‘Become a legend of the Wild West‘, will provide the option to create a character to start our journey towards the legend. In this mode we will fight duels for money with the possibility of being injured or even dying, which will mean that we will have to create another character. Ammunition will also be something to take into account if we want our character to last, having to go buy it. More places to interact in the salon will also be added. The fourth phase, ‘The village becomes a city‘, will bring add-ons to modify the gameplay such as a vest capable of stopping bullets, new enemies controlled by the AI, and special cards that we will find in our duels. Finally, game modes will be added to enjoy in the company of our friends, having the option of robbing a bank together, as long as we are not stopped by another group.
Unforgiven VR is a game for motion controllers, designed to be played standing up, and that will initially be released this February on Steam with SteamVR compatibility.
