If you Google the term “content marketing”, that mass of authoritative sources will be given about the following:
“Generating and publishing useful content on your and other sites”.
However, after such formulation immediately raises the question: where is the marketing? Indeed, thousands of websites daily create and post suitable content, but an active target audience while attracting unit.
Three-level content marketing
In fact, the content marketing embrace three “C”:
- The content itself (content). It can be very different: pictures, videos, articles, services. The main rule – the usefulness: the content has to satisfy the interests of the target audience (leisure, care, education, entertainment). It is necessary to create content better than the competition, and not like them.
- Interaction (connecting). It is not enough just to publish, you need to regularly promote content in social networks, thematic forums, to spark the interest of members and to answer questions. Note that the interaction includes working with comments, feedback, negative, and opinion leaders.
- Conversion (conversion). Remember, content marketing is not blogging. Here the content is created not for expression, but to increase loyalty to the product and ultimately a user action. And content needs to be sharpened by them.

Of course, there are three link – this is perfect, come from a theory. In practice, it often happens that lost one of the links and incomplete schemes:
- “Content + Interaction”. This scheme works for the benefit of writers and poets, but not businessmen. If the visitor becomes a buyer, it defeats the whole point of the word “marketing”.
- “Content + Conversion”. With this approach, the trust of the audience did not win. I appeal to you for help and you ignore or respond immediately and over time? Users will answer the same in relation to the product.
- “Interaction + Conversion”. The model in which you constantly are asking, but not giving anything up. It often resorted to online shopping and companies: “buy perfume cheap”, “repair bathroom in a short period of time” and so on. It’s too Intrusive and hurt the eyes.
Remember these basic links, and then content marketing with nothing to confuse.
