Shipments of the Vuze VR camera, capable of recording in 360º and stereoscopic, start for those who made the pre-purchase. New orders will start in April.

Humaneyes Technologies it has announced the launch of its camera Vuze VR, proclaiming that it is the first affordable camera that is capable of capturing 3D and 360º video, professional quality, combined with 3D audio. The device is accompanied by the Humaneyes VR Studio software that offers automated production and editing tools with which to render the content quickly, corresponding almost a minute of recording with a minute of rendering, depending on the GPU we have. Vuze VR is intended for producers, professionals and those interested in professional quality devices that will be able to enjoy this camera that fits in our pocket.

“We are excited to be able to bring the incredibly easy-to-use, affordable and fully portable Vuze VR camera to the market,” commented Jim Malcom, CEO of Humaneyes. “Consumer 360 cameras are easy to use and affordable, but they don’t offer the depth of VR video that professionals are starting to require to tell their stories.”

Vuze VR integrates 8 full HD cameras that simultaneously capture 360º video or images with a resolution of 4K per eye and 4 microphones that capture 3D audio. It can be controlled remotely by Wi-Fi or with the mobile application for Android and iOS, offers an autonomy of 2 hours of video capture and is easy to transport. The camera can be purchased for €899 and new orders will start shipping in April.
