Squirrel Bytes ‘ Hyperstacks action, platformer and puzzle sandbox is one of the 20 games that have made it to the semifinal of the 8th Edition of the PlayStation Talents Awards and the only one developed for VR. This title already has early access versions on Steam for PC viewers and for Oculus Quest in App Lab.
In Hyperstacks you have to fight against enemies, climb walls, solve puzzles and unleash your creativity, because it also includes a level editor. It is a sandbox that combines all kinds of genres (platforms, parkour, shooter, puzzles) with a single player campaign, cooperative mode and multiplayer option.
During the month of November the finalists will be announced and in December the gala will be held where it will be announced if Hyperstacks it’s the Best Game of the Year of the projects supported by the PlayStation Talents program. The prize has an economic endowment of € 10,000 destined to the financing of the project.
In addition, for 10 months the winning studio will be given a space for its development in one of the headquarters of PlayStation Talents Games Camp and advice from the best professionals in the sector. The award also includes the guaranteed release of the game on PlayStation, development kits, a laptop and access to the Z by HP workstation and a promotional campaign on official PlayStation channels valued at €200,000.
