ABBYY announced the acquisition of Pericom Singapore| 07.10.2020
ABBYY has announced the acquisition of Pericom Singapore – one of the largest it providers in Singapore.
It is expected that the acquisition will strengthen the position of ABBYY in the Asia-Pacific region where there are two offices of the company (in Japan and Hong Kong) and successfully operates an extensive network of
partners. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Singapore ranked first among Asian countries in the Asian digital transformation Digital Transformation Index.
Pericom is a longtime partner of ABBYY in the region. The company was founded in 1987 and provides enterprise solutions for document processing and workflow systems that help organizations to improve
performance, reduce costs and manage information. More than 1000 clients in various industries in the Asia-Pacific region use of the Pericom solution. During the cooperation the company
successfully implemented several projects in the automotive, healthcare and financial sector, government agencies and other industries.
