The company has created an enhanced experience to immerse us with a virtual family in a seance.
Almost two years after the publication of his first experiment, Holospark has released a new demo of Seance: The Unquiet, a free experience of 5 minutes that immerses us in a session of spiritism. As with the first version, its goal is to experiment with the narrative by adding characters that bring presence to the user. In order to give us a terrifying story with credible characters, they use motion capture technology and the Unreal Engine. On this occasion they have improved both the graphics and the animations, all with the idea of raising the presence of the user.
“In this second proof-of-concept demonstration, we show our approach to dynamic character presence in VR,” they say.
Seance: The Unquiet is not a project that is going to become something bigger, since, as we indicated, they are experiments carried out by the company and that start from other contents such as The Haunted Graveyard, an adventure that they launched in October last year with the focus on the arcades, although it is also available to enjoy at home.
The demo is Rift-compatible and Live and can be downloaded for free via Steam, where it features only English voices.
