On April 27th, the Runes: The Forgotten Path Kickstarter campaign will arrive and to liven up the wait, the studio has published a new teaser.

Stormborn Studio has announced the date on which the Kickstarter campaign of Runes: The Forgotten Path, a virtual reality adventure that puts us in the shoes of a magician. From April 27 we will be able to support the Italian-based team, which has several Spaniards among its ranks. “After opening the studio last summer and offering all our time and dedication to the game, we realized that our dream was coming true,” commented Alejandro Castedo, developer of Stormborn Studio. “This game is the result of a long and difficult adventure and now we want to finish it in the right way. The Kickstarter is the final push we need to create the game as we imagined it the first time we put on an VR viewer and we want to share this incredible adventure with you.”

Runes: The Forgotten Path is a fantasy game designed exclusively for virtual reality, in which we can perform spells with our own hands using the motion controllers. The title implements its own locomotion system called 4th Wall that eliminates dizziness and adds a new narrative layer.

Runes tells the story of Leth, a powerful wizard trying to escape from Oblivion, a magical prison of the mind. Diverted from the path of righteousness and trapped within himself by the tyrannical order of the Panopticon, he will have to face a blank start. With the use of his powerful spells and incantations he will fight enemies, solve puzzles and search for all his lost memories. Runes: The Forgotten Path will be available on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive and on April 27 we will know more details about the first chapter of the adventure that starts on Kickstarter.
